New game: Rubik´s 360

Hungarian profesor Erno Rubik, who is popular by his legendary Rubik´s cube invited new mind-bender called Rubik´s 360. This fascinating transparent ball was presented in Norimberg, Germany at international industry fair. This game was introduced by inventor himself. David Hedley Jones, president of company, which ownes rights for foreign sale, says:“Rubik´s 360 isn´t competitive for Rubik´s cube, only its supplement. It means, the market of Rubik´s brand is spreading more," he notes.

The first ball test did Dan Harris, British master in solving Rubik´s cube. First solving lasted him two days, but then only few hours and third experience lasted only few minutes!

So here is explanation how to play the game:

The ball is consists of three transparent plastic spheres and six small balls, each a different colour, which are inside. To complete the game player must to get small balls from the inner sphere to matching slots on the outer sphere. He does it by shaking them through a middle sphere that has only two holes. Aim of the game is to get all balls to correct slot.

Rubik´s cube evoked „madness“ all over the world mainly between teenagers three decades ago. Profesor believes, that Rubik´s 360 will have similar success.

1. It has 43 252 003 274 489 856 000 possible combinations, but only one solution.

2. More than 350 000 000 cubes have been sold

3. The slowest Cube solver is Graham Parker, 45 years old, from Portchester, Hampshire.
