Pete Doherty wants the rebirth of the The Libertines


British musician and guitarist,who has become famous thanks to his performance in bands The Libertines and nowadays in Babyshambles,but mainly thanks to his affaires with drug using and relationships with supermodel Kate Moss and now with Amy Winehouse,claimed his desire to reform his former band.
In his NME Awards interview after receiving The Best Solo Artist Award in front of his formerbanders eyes,he said:"I will convince Carl Barat to reform The Libertines."Band that was founded in 1997 by Doherty and Barat has become famous in 2002.In this year,after joing bassguitarist John Hassall and drummer Gary Powell,band released their debut album "Up the Bracket".The Libertines had very promising future and were considered as the best band in UK in these times,but just 2 years after band decided to fire Doherty due to his infinitive drug using affaires and released their "final" album named "The Libertines".Doherty then found another band named "Babyshambles" within which he still operate.
Doherty is planning to get more materials for his solo career and also for Babyshambles,what will keep them alive and even reform his ex-band.But all of that seems pretty much to deal and on top of that Barat has officialy never shown any possibility of getting Doherty back.
